Respond to the following scenario:
You need to create a Functional Behavioral Assessment plan for a student, and you want to do it in the most cultural-friendly way possible so that the student is more likely to respond. The student is in an early language stage of non-speaking, non-communicating, and you feel it has a great deal to do with cultural shock.
How will you do integrate cross-cultural awareness into an FBA plan to more fully engage the student in positive behaviors that will move the student forward in positive behaviors? Why is awareness of culture so important?
