In my opinion it is important for the teacher to take a step back and reflect on his/her classroom environment to see if it fits the needs of the students. It is important to reach out to parents/guardians and have a conversation with them to educate yourself more on the students cultural and tradition environment they are being raised in. It is important to involve the parents in the Assessment plan to ensure it fits the need for the student. It allows the parents and student to buy into the lessons more as it is catered to their best interests and built for them to be successful. Teachers need to reflect on the classroom environment on a daily basis to ensure it is built to fit all the needs for the students. If you see something that is not working, it allows you to make a change in real time.
