The teacher's role in the learning environment has changed. The teacher's role in monitoring the learning environment hasn't changed. Switching from Traditional Learning Paradigm to Engaged Learning Paradigm requires teachers to provide more time, trust, and structure guidance for student self-discovery, self-learning. Teachers must provide a greater variety of learning activities that are self-guided. However, teachers must still monitor progress, make curriculum revisions, and redirected the student learning process.
