Mod 19 Discussion: Taking the Lead on Literacy

The content area approach that I would recommend to my colleagues is pre-teaching vocabulary terms. This sets the students up for success throughout the lesson. If they have an idea of what the term means, then when learning it through the lesson won't be as confusing or as much of a daunting task at hand. I like to use the define, example, and connection way.
