Mod 8 Discussion: Tiering and Scaffolding in My Classroom

A approach I love to use is I Do, You Do, We Do. This approach allows me to model the task, then allows the students to demonstrate their understanding of the task, and finally allows us a final model to smooth out any struggles with their understanding. I find adapting graphic organizers would be a fun way to incorporate the I Do, You Do, We Do. Working together through a graphic organizer of critical vocabulary words with models (I do-), on how to look for definitions and understand English words.
