Module 5 Discussion: Language Acquisition in Content Areas

Language activities that can be worked into cross curricular curriculum include word walls, content vocabulary that focuses on prefixes and suffixes, and read a-louds.  I think having a vocabulary notebook is also very helpful.  Students could also share their writing to deepen the understanding of the content.
