Mod 17 Discussion: Culturally Responsive Teaching

Incorporating culturally responsive teaching in to the classroom will be rewording not just to teachers but also to students and families. It has a positive perspective not just on addressing the parents, but also engraining students in their academic achievements. It has a cultural respect that creates expectations in the classroom to engage students to challenge themselves and not give up. Teaching strategies that target every learner struggling or ELL learners. While teachers continue to challenge every student with new ideas in problem solving and developing higher order knowledge.
