Mod 17 Discussion: Culturally Responsive Teaching

Teaching for Change has the potential to meet all 7 criteria for culturally responsive teaching.

Teaching for change provides both teachers and parents with resources like books and lesson plans. It's mission is to create schools where students learn to read, write, and change the world.  It does bring up some controversial topics, but that is what is in the world today.

In the classroom, we can have discussion on multiculturalism and how society's goal to be more equitable and multicultural.
