Mod 17 Discussion: Culturally Responsive Teaching

Throughout the years of teaching kindergarten, I have learned that students and families are more likely to be more involved with learning when they feel included or an important part of the learning experience. As a culturally responsive teacher, it is important to have inclusivity when using the curriculum, lesson planning, and proper reading material in the classroom. Teaching for Change provides teachers and families with book, reading and writing resources for lesson planning and ways to make an impact in the world by being inclusive to multiculturism.
