To alleviate cultural miscommunication I would learn about the different cultures of the family. I would look up resources and gain knowledge for other teachers and staff at the school. I would invite the parent to participate in class activities to learn about them. As an admin, I would send my teachers to workshops and training and also help research resources to help the be successful it the students.
