Mod 1 Discussion: Classroom Implications of Linguistic Theory

Error correction only serves a purpose when it effects comprehension.  If you address every error and in certain settings, you could discourage the student from participating and even set them back in their development and comprehension.  One way you can correct this through role playing which would assist in working through grammatical issues, emotional expressions and behaviors.
