This student would fall into the field dependent category. This student would be a bit loud in the classroom because this is what's done culturally. According to the article, this student is not comfortable with competition, needs to make cognitive connections, & prefers to work in a group. I would differentiate instruction for this student by shortening the directions when explaining activities.
