This student would be considered a field-dependent student. This would mean that this student might often be interpreted as noisy and their behaviors could be misrepresented as off-task or disruptive. To avoid this, I would work towards keeping my classroom structured while allowing the student to thrive at what they are good at, interacting with others. I would allow for structured, role-centered group and partner work.
