This student seems to lean towards a field-dependent learning style, preferring guidance and support from both teachers and peers. In my classroom, I would ensure to provide clear instructions and encourage collaborative, not competitive, activities to foster their learning. Assigning group tasks and offering regular feedback would be beneficial in supporting their progress as well, and assigning them a peer or two in class to help them would also be helpful.
