Mod 7 Discussion: Cross Cultural Awareness

In the article "Strengthening Democracy in 2024"  

One of the text features used was an excerpt which stated "critical thinking skills are imperative for resisting harmful disinformation..."

One must educate ones self in order to prevent the disinformation that seems to be prevalent in today's society.  The critical thinking skills that need to be cultivated through education is essential to the informed mind and students need to be taught these essential skills so they can make informed decisions.  

Educators should teach these and other skills to encourage students to be avid life-long learners and teach cross-cultural awareness to help build acceptance of others.
