Module 14 Discussion: What Has Changed?

I started teaching in 1994 and so much has changed in high quality language instruction. In 1995, language instruction was completely teacher driven. The students sat and listened as the teacher gave all of the instructional information. Today, high quality language instruction involves students as an active part in the instruction interacting with the class as the instruction is provided.
