Module 14 Discussion: What Has Changed?

In general the biggest change that has been very successful is taking the teaching from Teacher 'spoon feeding' the students where the student takes a passive role; the student is engaged in his own learning. Making the students responsible for digging out their own information across content with the teacher's guidance has allowed the students to be more engaged and interested and tend to retain the information. The students are also involved with coaching and leading each other doing work in cooperatve small groups. The teachers still give guidance, plan and provide the instruction for the scaffolding and procedures.
