After reading I really loved the idea of using the TPR approach in my classroom. I would use it to help transition between content areas. After completing one task we would play simon says as a class. So it would be simon says go to the carpet, simon says go back to your seat, simon says put you book away, etc. This would be a fun way for students to put meaning to action words and eventually make the demons longer using more complex sentence structures.
