Mod 1 Discussion: Classroom Implications of Linguistic Theory
Classroom Implications of Linguistic Theory Blocks
I think teachers should not correct every mistake because students can become nervous and not want to speak. Making mistakes is part of learning a new language, and it's important to let students practice without stopping them all the time.
Instead of correcting right away, the teacher can ask questions, repeat the sentence correctly, or give the student a chance to think and correct themselves. I think this helps students become more confident and learn from their own mistakes.
