Mod 19 Discussion: Taking the Lead on Literacy

There are several approaches that I think would make great instruction methods across all content areas. Tiered questioning, graphic organizers, and pre-teaching vocabulary/ background before lessons are the ones I would recommend most. When sharing with my colleagues, I think the concept of pre-teaching would be the easiest to convey and have the greatest impact on student understanding. I also think it creates more potential to connect content areas.
