Mod 7 Discussion: Data Action

As a new special education teacher, I recognize that many students enter the classroom with learning gaps that may affect their academic success. My action research study will focus on identifying those gaps and implementing targeted interventions to help them make progress toward their Individualized Education Program goals. 

To address these gaps, I will collect and analyze student performance data, monitor progress toward IEP goals, and provide individualized instruction based on identified needs. By focusing on the skills outlined in students' IEPs, I hope to improve academic achievement while helping students build the foundational skills necessary for success in their general ed classes.
