Mod 8 Video Discussion

As an ELA teacher, I really enjoyed the last two videos: the adjective animal creative assignment and the writing to learn method. Even though I teach 6th grade, many of my students come into my classroom parts-of-speech-adjacent. Meaning most of them could not tell you the difference between a noun and an adjective. This could be a fun beginning of the year remediation/get to know you assignment. I, personally, have always exercised writing to learn in my own learning and plan on putting these methods to higher use in my classroom moving forward.
