A more relaxed approach to assigning tasks would be helpful to this student. More orally driven assignments, group work, conceptual goals over detail. Allow for the learning style but ensure that the level of comprehension necessary to master tasks is still evident.
Sometimes the tasks that are given to students may be overwhelming at times so the more relaxed approach to assigning task would be helpful.
