Mod 8 Discussion: Tiering and Scaffolding in My Classroom

The scaffolding approach I would adapt for my students is the KWL chart, at least that is the approach I preferred back when I was in the classroom.  I would probably make a few adjustments for the students that require additional accommodations.  I really enjoyed creating visual supports for my students that required them and hands on learning workboxes to ensure all of my students fully understood the lesson.  I would use the curriculum driven visuals, but I would also focus on the individual student needs and add more if needed as I teach.   describe how you would adapt it: The adjustments I would make would be to the curriculum, back when I was in the classroom, we used reading mastery as the curriculum and now and curriculum is Vizzle and Unique Learning System and Attainment.
