Mod 15 Video Discussion

I want to incorporate more multidisciplinary learning (learning about history/humanities in social studies to assist in what we read in ELA) and I want to incorporate more total engagement strategies such as jigsaw or fishbowl.  I know that those strategies are research proven and elevate student learning and growth.  I can use these approaches with topics in ELA and social studies or ELA and science.  Science would be easier to implement the use of a jigsaw since there's multiple types of things or subtopics that could be assigned to groups (I.e types of energy).
