Mod 15 Video Discussion

I responded most stongly to the first video that emphasized structure and responsibility in group work. The more structure the group has and the more focus on what the group is supposed to produce creates more engaged and on-task groups. Creating this environment from the beginning of the year, modeling it, and as was shown in the video, keeping the expectations posted creates a very effective group. Also, it is important to let the students have a say in how the group interactions work, guiding them as their teacher. This will ensure that the guidelines are accessible, and not something that was simply placed in frot of them to obey.
