Why is it important to get to know, and understand, our ELLs? What role does culture play?

Good evening

   It is essential to know our students because we need to understand the way they learn and the cultural background to take it in consideration when we are building our lesson plans. Culture play an important aspect because each culture is unique in this learning process. Finally, we need to take in consideration the way our students see each other culturally.
