Mod 1 Video Discussion

The dual-language program video about building cross-cultural connections deeply resonated with me. Students improve their language abilities while gaining cultural understanding through activities that blend language learning with entertainment. My work as an ESE teacher shows me the necessity of developing learning experiences where students forge connections and explore their heritage with pride. My classroom would benefit from games, stories, and cultural celebrations which create an open and meaningful learning experience that students enjoy. The coordination between teachers serves as an inspiration to me because lesson alignment through team collaboration enables better support for students who thrive with hands-on and culturally responsive teaching methods. In the future I plan to create a space where diversity receives appreciation while language connects people and shared experiences validate every student.
