As a final project, students search an assigned poem for examples of figurative language and then analyze the use of the language in context. I would provide students with a checklist to help them keep track of whether or not they have completed each stanza, as well as mark off which fig lang types they have uncovered. As they work, I could upload videos for feedback, checking in with their analyses.
