I would research the students' different cultural beliefs to ensure that my new students and their families feel welcomed in the classroom. I would work hard to communicate and work with the parents to ensure we are on the same page. I would communicate the same messages to the students. I would respect their culture while also introducing my expectations in hopes of creating inclusion and establishing a relationship with the family and student.
