1. Cultural relevance- Align the curriculum to include knowledge of diverse background. To celebrate and be informed of language and culture..
2. Non-bias- Align a variety of learning styles to promote awareness and avoid stereotyping.
3. Alignment to state/national standards- Align state standards and benchmark for all students especially ELL learners, to help accommodate language deficiencies.  
4. Differentiated- Align scaffolding support with content that will allow more instructional time for students with accommodations.
