Culture has many colors indeed. I remember my cultural experience going to Jerusalem and not understanding anything that was being said to me. I learned the language before we planed the trip but the language is only spoken in small towns. Small towns were dangerous so the language leaned was not useful at the time. In Jerusalem I felt lost, small, out of place, but with all that happy. Due to informing myself prior to going I was able  to pack accordingly. Jerusalem is about respect, value and the worship of the lord.

I can say that I really did enjoy myself the food the culture and the language was something that will take with me through this beautiful journey,

In my classroom, based on my experience in another country. I give my ELL students a  warm welcoming place tp learn and trust. I know what it is to feel lost, out of place, and not understand nothing. I work with them and provided them with the tools to succeed.
