Based on the description, this student would likely be considered **field-dependent**. Field-dependent learners typically excel in social situations, value collaboration, and are often more attuned to group dynamics. They tend to rely on external cues and the context of their environment, which aligns with their ability to work well in groups and maintain respectful interactions with peers and teachers.

 Implications for the Classroom:

1. Group Work: Field-dependent students blossom in collaborative learning environments. They benefit from defined group tasks where they can engage with peers and draw on social support.

2. Feedback and Guidance-These students often seek encouragement and feedback from teachers. Providing consistent support can help them stay stimulated and engaged.

Suggestions for Assigned Tasks:

1.Collaborative Projects- Assign group projects where the student can take on a role that utilizes their interpersonal skills, such as a mediator or coordinator. This will allow them to leverage their strengths in group dynamics

2. Peer Tutoring: Involve the student in peer tutoring arrangements, where they can help others while reinforcing their own learning. This will provide them with the social interaction they enjoy and build their confidence. Favorite novels that affords me the opportunity to be creative and interact outside of our stringent district mandated lesson plans. Individual students choose a task card which is an excerpt or scene from the book. They are to dramatize, explain, and give their opinion of that scene or excerpt. I assess them based on a rubric created to score the task.
