Mod 11 Discussion: Teaching Critical Literacy

Compare and contrast is such a useful tool in and out of the classroom. When teaching literacy it can be helpful in making a student find a connection with the text. This is a vital in making students care about a text and retain the lessons within it. I find this great to conduct in groups then slowly shrink the groups down as it will encourage them to do more of the heavy lifting in the group.
