Checklist:

1. Cultural Relevance

• Are there any obvious use of context or connotation that could be seen as disrespectful?
• Does the content expand across multiple cultures in a meaningful manner?
• Are there any misconceptions that could be created from how the curriculum applies or explains the content?

2. Non-bias

• Does this curriculum provide factual evidence of events?
• Does the curriculum portray all cultures factually and respectfully?

3. Alignment to state/national standard

• Does the language of the curriculum align with the language of the standard?
• Are the key questions in the standard being addressed through this curriculum? 

4. Differentiated

• Does this curriculum allow for scaffolding?
• Is the content in the curriculum capable of being simplified without losing its core meaning?
• Are there resources within the curriculum, or permissible through an external source, that can allow for differentiated learning?
