Mixed-Ability Pairings: I will pair students with different language skills together so they can help each other out. My students will learn to be sensitive to each other's needs and work together throughout the year.

Jigsaw Groups: I'll split my class into smaller teams for different tasks. This way, my students will get feedback from lots of different classmates and learn to work well with everyone in the class.

Cultural Exchange Groups: I'll create groups with students from different countries. This will help my students appreciate each other's cultures and work together on our journalism projects.

Language Proficiency Pods: I'll group students based on their English skills. This way, more advanced students can help those who are still learning. My students will improve their language skills while working together on assignments.
