Mod 11 Discussion: Teaching Critical Literacy

I really enjoyed learning about the Bookmark Technique and it could be a very useful in a center. Students are able to create bookmarks that are relevant to the text they are reading and can challenge them. In my classroom, I would have students create bookmarks stating 4-5 words that the class can discuss or they can draw text features they saw in the story.
