Mod 8 Video Discussion

I use similar techniques as outlined in one of the videos when making considerations for reading complex texts.  First, we must ensure that the topic is compelling enough to maintain the interest of the students so that they want to learn more about it.  Next, we have to consider the progression of the texts and try to work up the level of difficulty as we move ahead. We also must keep in mind the scaffolding strategies we will use so that all students have the ability to succeed in learning the information.
