To enhance the idea of fluency I would want to provide many opportunities for repetitive reading. This would include daily sight word check ins and it would flow into whole group reading tasks. To Promote fluency, I could engage the students in choral reading which allows students who may not be as fluent, to hear the language and how it is to be spoken. In turn, this would help the bilingual students as well to bridge the gap of understanding.
