Students need to be involved in classes that will assist them in being functional in the real world and teach them job skills upon graduation. The bilingual immersion courses allow students to receive instruction in two languages. They speak in their language somewhat but ultimately teachers/administration want those students to learn English language.

With the ESOL training, teachers are equipped to teach concepts to the ELL's.

ELL's are exposed to English as the curriculum is taught which includes: vocabulary, context clues, predicting, etc.

The interaction was English speaking students on a daily basis will allow second language students to "pick up" on the language. Working in groups will further expose those students to more English language such as phrases, sentences, & mannerisms.
