Mod 9 Discussion: Oral Language Support in My Classroom

I start my classes with "hello tickets,"  and at the end, we wrap up with "exit tickets" to reflect on our learning, helping students solidify their understanding and giving me feedback to address any areas that need more attention in the next day's lesson or when we have time another day that week. Integrating sentence starters could be a great addition to these activities. For example, "hello tickets" could begin with prompts like "I'm curious about..." or "Today's topic has me thinking...," while "exit tickets" might conclude with phrases like "One big takeaway for me was..." or "Something I still need help with is..."
