Mod 8 Discussion: Tiering and Scaffolding in My Classroom

In my classroom I will now be scaffolding by pre-teaching vocabulary that may be difficult or unfamiliar to my students. I could use a glossary with the terms defined, along with a picture gallery of the unfamiliar terms. I will also encourage students to visualize the text and annotate what comes to mind as they are reading.
