Module 7 Video Discussion

I loved getting to watch this video.  Getting to peek inside another classroom is invaluable, and something that I don’t get to do that often while teaching.  Some of the strategies that were employed by the teacher include reading aloud challenging texts to the students, actively working to break down learning targets, learning from peers, and and an intentional attempt by the teacher to pace the lesson so that it is approachable to all students.  These are great tools and reminders for teachers to slow down, thoroughly explain to students what they are expected to learn, and to allow students time to think and process information at their open pace.
