I can incorporate movement with new ELL students to model or even ‘act out’ concepts. For example I have created signs that students hold in their hands to physically demonstrate the structure of DNA nucleotides.  Students then ‘bond’ with others in the correct formations to illustrate how the DNA molecule is constructed.  Students then use the modeling example in small group activities.
