A tiering approach I often use is providing most to least prompting with our population of students. This scaffolding approach is used with my students with severe to moderate autism. When starting out with most to least prompting, this gives me an opportunity to see where instruction starts (with each student). The materials used are semantic maps, modified bingo games and modified picture vocabulary. The go-to curriculum we use is, Vizzle. Vizzle does a great job in identifying starting point for all students.
