Mod 8 Video Discussion

In our classroom we use visuals everyday. In the videos, Writing to Learn and Adjective Animal Drawings, visuals were heavily represented and fostered to promote student learning. I feel the students learned and retained the information when visuals were introduced. Also, I feel that students learn best when they are not formally graded on assignments. In the video, Writing to Learn, the students wrote to see if they understood the content. They were not graded on grammar, etc. In the video, Adjective Animal Drawings, students learned by humor of the adjectives put together. This is a great way to check for comprehension and to get students thinking.
