Module 8 Discussion: Early Literacy and My ELLs

Gallery walks/Picture Walks allow for all different levels of language acquisition to engage with content.  Enhanced word walls with images and even multiple languages assist with vocabulary development.  Once students feel comfortable, I see where participating in and speaking out during a language experience approach activity can be very supportive and become a valuable strategy to enhance a student's literacy skills.
