Mod 8 Video Discussion

In our kindergarten classroom, we start the students off with learning to draw simple pictures and label them. For this grade level, drawing pictures is in the beginning stages of learning to write. Even when you may not know what the student produces initially, as time goes on, you will see their growth in their journals. This is an informal assessment that is usually not graded but used to monitor the student's progress with comprehending a text.
