There are a plethora of language activities that can be utilized in an array of content areas. I would suggest a word wall and other vocab focused activities. Taking special care to choose words that can translate into other areas or their general oral language is advised as well. A focus on affixes could also benefit the student.

I like the focus on affixes! that can stretch easily to all subjects!
