Reading instruction for ELL students is different than instruction for English natives due to the language barrier. Students can have some electronic texts translated to their native language as well.

In Math, I use more visual methods rather than just all text.

The barrier for ELLs regarding reading can be difficult. Overcoming this barrier through text readers, peer mentors, etc. is a necessary element for their success.
